Furthest Waves Surf Guitars - California Made

The Lonesome Coast Surf Guitar was thoughtfully designed with experienced luthiers and musicians to create a high-quality electric guitar with a classic design that is lightweight, approachable and inspires people to play.

This guitar is both inviting and powerful - the compact sleek design offers ease of play with custom dual humbucker pickups that deliver incredible sound quality for a range of musical styles.

This surf guitar is curated with one objective: to be played. The inviting lightweight design allows for playing anywhere, anytime. The Lonesome Coast Surf Guitar is great for travel with a custom gig bag and steamer trunk inspired travel amp. It can be played on stage, at the beach, on the porch or while relaxing at home.

The offset design make this a great guitar to play while seated, standing or even lying back in bed. The contours and lightweight design make this one of the most comfortable guitars to play. We sourced and tested numerous tonewoods to achieve premium sound while maintaining the ultralight feel.

This guitar’s tight sound and ease of handling make it a welcome departure from historically heavy electric guitars - creating a satisfying instrument for experienced musicians with a refreshing compact size and lightness which also makes it inviting to beginners. The minimalist design offers a clean layout with everything you need.

We wanted to create a guitar built for everyone from the experienced to the novice, from seasoned pros to ambitious young musicians and even those crusty ole crawdads out there who keep complaining about their bad backs. The Lonesome Coast Surf Guitar is truly ageless and genderless.

We initially designed this guitar for individuals with a smaller build that were overwhelmed by the standard electric guitar yet we found this compact size offers tremendous versatility to all sizes and ages making for an all around fun instrument to play. Most importantly it keeps you playing and coming back for the incredible sound!!!
