The Lonesome Coast Surf Guitar - How it all Began
It all started with one guitar - trying to find a quality, compact-sized, lightweight guitar with incredible sound for a person of small stature.
Geoff Ellsworth is a musician and artist and when he tried to find a smaller, light-weight, electric guitar for his partner, Anne Wheaton, we was surprised to find in a massive market of electric guitars there was a lack of smaller sized electric guitars that offered the high-quality, full-scale neck, and great sound we were looking for.
Not to be deterred Geoff and Anne worked with a local guitar shop to strip down some existing mass produced youth guitars and re-built three guitars with quality components. They looked amazing but would go out of tune and still lacked the full sound we were looking for so we decided to design our own.
We were fortunate enough to get a recommendation to work with Jason Villa, a highly experienced guitar builder.
Numerous prototypes and years later we are finally ready to release The Lonesome Coast Surf Guitar!

We are a guitar company who boldly stands for being all inclusive and recognizes women, the LGBTQ+ community, and youth as being vital to the music world. We are working to expand accessibility to musical instruments one guitar at a time.
The Signature Rabbit Logo is the original artwork of Anne’s non-binary teenager. Eli crated an original sticker for my guitar and I have been using it ever since, we built our brand around it. It signifies many things ~ we are cruelty free and ALL inclusive. Our rabbit logo is committed to non-violence and kindness towards all sentient beings.

Steve Shirrell of Stanroy Music Center was instrumental in helping us with our guitar scale length and intonation. He is now helping us ramp up production for building the latest run of these guitars!!! The Ocean Blue and Seafoam Green are on the racks!
Steve has introduced the addition of push/pull pots offering both Humbucker pickup sound and Single-Coil pickup sounds or a combination of the two!
We also have some guitars with Steve's recommendation of a brass nut!!
